Your table in three columns
The screen is divided into three: your world on the left, what you write in the centre, and your director's secrets on the right. You have it all in view without jumping between screens.
Game Master
What each thing is for, in plain language.
The screen is divided into three: your world on the left, what you write in the centre, and your director's secrets on the right. You have it all in view without jumping between screens.
You keep your characters (the NPCs), places, factions and objects in sheets. Each one with its description, what it wants, its secrets and its hooks. That way your world is tidy and within reach.
Your game is divided into scenes. You write one, move on to the next, and you reorder them however you like as the story goes.
You organise each session into three moments: what you prepare beforehand, what actually happened during, and the consequences and threads left open afterwards.
You keep count of your story threads and mark them as open or closed. That way no half-finished plot slips your mind.
A separate place, under lock, for what you know and your players do not. You have it in view while you run the game, with no risk of showing it by accident.
When you need something on the spot, you ask for help: to carry on a scene, describe a place, create a character, suggest an encounter or invent rumours to plant. You are in charge; the help only proposes.
A place to think through your campaign with the help, without touching what you have already written.
You never have to press «save»: everything keeps saving on its own while you work.
