⚠️ Provisional document Fictara is in closed beta. This policy is preliminary and will be reviewed by a Swiss lawyer before the public launch of Nyralis GmbH, in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Swiss Federal Data Protection Act (nFADP).

Data we collect

During the beta phase we collect only:

• Account data: email, encrypted password, optional name
• Usage data: texts you generate with AI, projects, notes
• Technical data: AI usage logs (model used, tokens consumed, cost)
• Preferred language: stored in cookie and local storage

We do NOT use third-party cookies or external analytics services during beta.

Purpose of processing

Your data is used exclusively to:

• Provide the service (save your projects, generate texts with AI)
• Calculate real costs and define fair prices at launch
• Improve Fictara based on real beta tester usage
• Comply with Swiss legal obligations

Legal bases (GDPR)

• Contract performance: providing the beta service
• Consent: voluntary registration as beta tester
• Legitimate interest: service improvement and abuse prevention

Who accesses your data

Your data is NOT sold, rented or shared with third parties for marketing.

The following providers share technical data strictly to provide the service:

• AI providers (process your text temporarily to generate responses)
• Hosting (Infomaniak Switzerland · Stackscale Spain)
• Payment gateways (when applicable: Stripe, Mollie, CCBill, Segpay)

Data retention

• Account data: until you delete your account
• AI usage logs: 12 months for statistical analysis
• Backups: 30 days after deletion

Your rights

You have the right to:

• Access your data
• Correct it
• Delete it (right to be forgotten)
• Restrict its processing
• Port your data to another service
• Object to processing

Cookies

Fictara uses a single technical cookie:

• fictara-locale: your preferred language (1 year, SameSite=Lax)

We do NOT use tracking, advertising or analytics cookies.

Changes

Any substantial change to this policy will be notified to you by email before it takes effect.
